Single Status Affidavit for Armenia
The Armenian authorities require U.S. citizens who wish to marry to provide written affidavit stating that there is no legal impediment to the marriage.
This document is called an Acknowledgement. You can download the form for free here. Fill out the form, sign, date, and have your signature notarized by a notary public. Then send the notarized original to us for an apostille.
If you live in New York City (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Manhattan, NYC), instead of the Acknowledgment, you can get a Certificate of Non-Impediment from New York City Marriage Bureau. Read more about Certificates of Non-Impediment
